Meet Jeff Sage
Jeff is the Manager of Marketing and Communications at Fanshawe College.
Jeff is responsible for Fanshawe’s marketing, communications and recruitment portfolios, including the College’s collaborative marketing strategy. His related expertise includes strategic marketing, new media and social network communications, media and public relations and organizational communications.
Jeff joined Fanshawe College from the role of Director, Business Development, at London-based Makin’ Headlines Ltd – a full service public relations consultancy – and its sister company, mh NewMedia – a digital media and e-training firm – where his clients included Industry Canada, Landscape Ontario and CN Rail.
Jeff has taught communications and technology courses in Fanshawe’s Department of Continuing Education, including Communications for Managers in the Ontario Management Development Program, and in its full-time Corporate Communications and Public Relations post-graduate program.
Jeff holds a BA in Political Science from The University of Western Ontario, a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Communication and Public Relations from Fanshawe College, and is currently pursuing his Masters at Birmingham City University.

In addition to offering pro bono communications and creative support to a number of local nonprofits, Jeff and Lindsay have held individual volunteer leadership positions with over a dozen community organizations, including Junior Achievement of London and District, Pillar NonProfit Network, The Arts Project, London Children’s Museum, Fanshawe College Alumni Association, Huron University College and United Way of London & Middlesex, as well as acted as advisors for community task forces on everything from creative cities and downtown revitalization, to academic curriculum planning. Jeff and Lindsay are both founding board members of Emerging Leaders, a nonprofit initiative to retain, develop and engage London’s young professional population.
