Meet Lindsay Sage
A principal sagecomm consultant, Lindsay is the former Director of Marketing and Development for the London Public Library (LPL) system, where she was responsible for the Library’s strategic marketing plan and brand strategy, as well as corporate communications, public relations and online communications. In 2007, Lindsay led a proactive change agenda that saw the creation of a new brand identity for LPL, its first-ever strategic marketing campaign, and the reimagination of system-wide marketing and communication practices. Under her leadership, LPL was the recipient of several awards of excellence for communications.
Lindsay joined LPL from her role as Director, Programs and Services for TechAlliance of Southwestern Ontario, a membership organization focusing on economic growth in London’s technology sector, where she was responsible for the professional development programs and services offered to over 150 TechAlliance member companies, as well as the organization’s brand identity and marketing efforts.
Before joining TechAlliance, Lindsay was a member of the management team of the Shared Hierarchical Academic Research Computing Network (SHARCNET), Canada’s largest high performance computing network, which is based at The University of Western Ontario. There she was responsible for marketing and communications between the network’s partners -- nine universities, two colleges and five private sector companies, including Hewlett Packard and Nortel Networks.
Lindsay has held progressive marketing and communications roles in private industry and marketing consultancies and has held positions as a part-time faculty member in Fanshawe College’s Department of Continuing Education, where she taught both communications and technology courses.
Lindsay holds a BA Hons. in English and Comparative Literature from The University of Western Ontario and a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Communication and Public Relations from Fanshawe College. She is currently pursuing her Masters at Athabasca University.
