Transforming entrepreneurship with Indigenous values, histories and ways of knowing is leadership at its best. When a trusted postsecondary education partner took on the challenge of bringing these spaces together in this way for the first time in Canadian history, a potent position and campaign was required to drive education, understanding and action for this groundbreaking Global Conference on Indigenizing Entrepreneurship (GCIE).
To support this innovative leadership event, an integrated marketing plan, including ongoing consulting support, was developed for the GCIE conference. A strong visual identity was built to complement Algonquin College’s existing brand which was translated into a compelling website to support sponsorship, information gathering, and conference registration. A detailed content marketing plan gave the event an authentic voice and connected it with the target audience through key channels. Public relations support and day-to-day conference operations collateral ensured this important event connected to every attendee with insight and meaning.
An engaging and responsive conference landing page attracted and provided essential conference information to conference delegates.
Compelling ads and promotional materials, both print and digital were part of the marketing mix that helped attracted conference delegates from around the world.
