STEM Camp is inspiring youth through participating in hands on activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). As a rapidly growing family run non-profit, it was time for STEM Camp’s brand position to mature.
We created a visual, verbal and experiential brand that was simple, playfully scientific and engaging, based on an in-depth market research and positioning exercise. With bold, bright colors to show showcase the energetic and inclusive nature of these camp experiences, the clean modern typography and logotype silhouette imbues reliability, integrity and the all-important fun factor that can help draw kids into STEM disciplines.
The look and feel of a brand is one thing, but it's not the only thing. The brand book we created for the STEM Camp team provides actionable intelligence about audience motivations and challenges, voice-tone-style guidelines, and implementation direction for all visual elements, including an icon library, as a one stop shop for great brand positioning decisions moving forward.
